2019 MAJOR  SINGLES CHAMPION : 

     Laurel O’Brien

      

The final of our 2019 Club Major Singles was played on 12th March between Laurel O’Brien and Fay Tilley.

It was a closely fought game with Laurel taking an early lead with Fay catching up and then Laurel went out to a 23-14 lead. Fay went on a scoring spree to bring the score up to 23-22 with Laurel winning the next end to give her the final score of 25-22.

The game was played with good friendship and sportsmanship. The Marker was Chris Gooch, Umpire David Gooch and Controlling Body was Betty Roffey.

Congratulations to both ladies for a wonderful game.
